Neuroscience and the Brain – Understanding Substance Use, Mental Health, and Gambling Disorders

An understanding of neuroscience and brain functioning is essential to properly respond to substance use, mental health, and gambling disorders. The Neuroscience and the Brain – Understanding Substance Use, Mental Health, and Gambling Disorders Training explores the neurophysiology of the brain and interaction of neurotransmitters with mood, anxiety, substance use, and gambling disorders. Screening tools for these disorders are then examined as a means of conducting a comprehensive assessment.
