Compassion & Self-Compassion in the Treatment and Recovery of Problem and Disordered Gambling
It goes without saying that there are many underlying causes of addictions. In every situation, however, no matter what the causes are, compassion and self-compassion can aid in the treatment and recovery process in several ways. Whether it be in the form of motivation, the development and/or rebuilding of relationships, or forgiveness, the importance of compassion and self-compassion cannot be overlooked. This workshop will explore how vital it is to foster these skills in the treatment and recovery of gambling disorder.
