Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CADA) offers the following workshop presented by The Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania, Inc.
Level 1 / Day 1 – Intro to Problem Gambling
On Day 1 of the 30 hour clinical training required to pursue National certification, we will cover the history and scope of gambling and take an in-depth look at what problem gambling is and how it affects individuals of all backgrounds. We will discuss problem gambling and the family, affected populations, how problem gambling is diagnosed and what treatment resources are available. For those interested in learning more about working with problem gamblers and becoming nationally certified, this workshop will provide an excellent overview of the disorder and certification process. (Please note: Days 2-4 will not be held at this time)
