The North Carolina Problem Gambling Program (NCPGP) is pleased to offer

The Intersection of video gaming, gambling, ADD and ASD

A convergence is happening between video games and gambling. The elements of each are showing up in the other with increasing frequency, including in games that are designed for young children. There are strong concerns about the many effects of digital screens on child development. In this presentation the speaker will describe the convergence of gambling and gaming, give a brief introduction to what we are learning about how digital screen use is influencing ADHD and ASD, and suggest what can be done to mitigate negative effects.
