Participants will gain an understanding of how the meaning and value of money changes with the progression of a gambling disorder and how to talk about and address the financial impact of problem gambling as a key component of the recovery process.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to define how the meaning of money becomes distorted through the progress of a gambling disorder
2. Participants will be able to identify and assess the common financial consequences of a gambling disorder
3. Participants will be able to define the key components of a financial recovery plan for disordered gamblers
