Problem gambling is any gambling, betting or wagering that causes individuals or their families to have financial, legal, emotional or other problems. Gambling Disorder is classified in the “Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders” in the DSM-5. Knowing the signs, and screening for problem gambling can help with getting people referred to treatment services when needed.
