Greene County Problem Gambling Webinar: The Hidden Addiction
Today, more people have access to, and are participating in, gambling activities than ever before. While the majority of the population is able to gamble without developing any issues, there are a small percentage of people who are unable to maintain responsible levels of play. Unfortunately for these individuals, this often progresses to a point where several areas of their lives are impacted in a negative way.
The program will discuss problem gambling and how it can often go unnoticed by friends and family members. Because gambling has very few physical symptoms, it can remain hidden while problems intensify. Having awareness of warning signs and available resources can be very valuable in identifying potential gambling related issues and connecting those impacted with help.
Presenter:
- Josh Ercole, Executive Director, CCGP
